It’s that time of year again when we are looking for the perfect gift to give to that important someone in our life.  Although it may sound cliché, there is nothing more timeless than an elegant gold watch.  Just consider its intrinsic worth when you are looking for something that will go on saying how important that person truly is to you.  In this chaotic world of ours we are CONSTANTLY checking the time.  We’re late for this or late for that and it seems like we can’t even carry on a simple conversation without checking the time.  If someone is going to commit the social blunder of checking their watch while they’re busy conversing, give them a gold watch that will be NOTICED!  Then they can catch their misstep and lie their way out of it.  “My girlfriend gave me this for Christmas and I just keep wondering how much she spent.”  It sounds good and COULD be believable!

You CAN buy a quality gold watch that isn’t Swiss! Bulova gold watches are American made and have been around since 1948. The company was founded by a European immigrant, though while not Swiss, heavily relied on the craftsmanship of a renowned Swiss watchmaker. Then there are is the Cartier gold watch. Those French do have a knack for fashion. If you think about this geographically, Switzerland and France are in close geographical proximity and share a common history. How remarkable is that?
