Garden Outdoor Security Camera

Perhaps you don’t feel that you live in a neighborhood that you would be concerned about the need of an outdoor security camera but I didn’t either. My neighborhood has always been calm; it has a lot of younger families so it is a pretty quiet neighborhood once the sun goes down but lately that has changed. In the past two years I have noticed a lot of noise after dark, you know like teenagers talking and cars zipping up and down the street. Just last year I had one of the lights on the front of my garage broken.

I’m not sure why my neighborhood has started to change perhaps it is because newer families have moved into the area but I think it is likely that the younger neighborhood that I loved has finally grown up. That sweet innocent area that I would trust my unlocked car doors and even unlocked front door to has started into its rebellious phase.

I felt sad the day that I went to buy the outdoor security camera because the block that I had lived on for so long had changed and changed for the worse. I thought about moving into another neighborhood but the reason that I live in the area that I do presently is to be close to my kids. I guess until a safer neighborhood has some space for an old guy like me I will just have to put up with it.

I installed the outdoor security camera on top of the garage facing my garden and the front of my house. I wanted to keep it out of plain sight because I didn’t want anyone to be able to see it because an outdoor security camera system is definitely an eyesore.

I also wanted to make sure though that I could get a good view of my property, including my new garden sheds. I placed the outdoor security camera at an angle so that it could get in view my garage, cars, garden buildings and my front door. All of the expensive things and the areas that were important to me would be captured on the security camera.

I haven’t had anything else happen since my light on the front of my garage was broken but having a security camera watching everything puts my mind at ease. Isn’t that always the way that it works? Once you use something for prevention then you never have an incident again?
