The first step to getting that gold watch clean is to fill a bowl with two cups of warm water and add some dish detergent to the water.

Take off the bracelet from your gold watches if you do not want to get the timepieces wet and place it in the soapy water for fifteen minutes. This will loosen a lot of the dirt and grime from the gold watch and make it much easier to remove without needing to scrub.

After about fifteen minutes remove the rose gold watch from the soapy solution and begin to gently brush it with a toothbrush. This may help to remove some of the more stubborn bits of dirt that are stuck to its surface. These bits of dirt can also be found in chains of cross necklaces.

Dry your gold watch with a dry and lint free cloth until it starts to shine. Don’t be too rough you will just need to gently roll the gold watch around the cloth and dab it. And voila, you will now have a clean gold watch or cross necklace.
