Black Pants

You’ve heard it before, you might have even practiced it, but having a pair of black pants is an absolute necessity in your wardrobe. Even if they are black jeans, they will fit in with a nice blazer and an attractively tailored shirt in just about any color. However, well cut black pants in an excellent fabric can dress you up so that you can venture out anywhere.

Not only does black go well with everything, black pants make a statement of their own. Something I particularly like about these pants is their ability to handle any kind of problem caused by dropping food or spilling a drink on them. A friend of mine has at least a dozen different pairs of black pants, and my favorite of his collection are the palazzo pants that are quite dramatic with their very wide bell-bottom legs.

He’s had them for at least a dozen years, and loves them because they dress up any outfit. They are made of a silky flaring soft material, and he drapes chains around his waist. He wears transparent jackets over them, he dresses them up, and sometimes he really dresses them up so they’re almost formal wear.

His other black pants range from belted, half- belted, unbelted, with big pockets, no pockets, deep pockets, but she has a real sense for fashion. And if I stop to think about it, I believe that all the pants he owns are black, and yet, he always looks like he’s wearing a completely different outfit, but that’s because he puts all his money and effort into buying accessories.

If you have to wear a very dressy wardrobe, but don’t have a lot of money, you should start off with an all-purpose pair of black pants, and then add more as you can afford them. You are better off spending good money on the essentials because they will last longer and they look better from beginning to end. Experts advise having a pair of navy blue or white pants as well. The ideal wardrobe for somebody who didn’t have time to shop would be two or three really well-cut blazers, two or three well-designed pants and several blouses. It’s in the blouses where you can really show your creativity. Some experts also advise that you’re better off to put your money into the accessories and use elegant classic timeless pants, blouses and jackets as the background for your creativity and vivaciousness.
