Bathroom Vessel Sinks

I went out with my sister in-law yesterday shopping and she took me to a store that specializes in faucets and sinks. She was looking for a particular type called vessel sinks. She was redoing her bathroom and wanted new everything; a new toilet, a heated floor, a new bathtub, and a new sink. She said that she hated the look of her bathroom and everyday that she didn’t do something about it was making it worse. She had actually gotten to the point that she actually didn’t even use it anymore, she hated it that much.

We went over to look at the sinks and I have to say those vessel sinks are very nice. We looked at sinks that were made from wood and stone and I think there are a few other types as well. But let me tell you the craftsmanship of the sink was amazing and the quality of them is as well. I don’t think that I would be using bathroom vessel sinks in my bath at least not in the next couple of years. They are a bit too nice to put in the bathroom at my house that is full of messy teenagers. I would be worried about them doing something silly and breaking the sink. We all know how teenagers are, where there is a will, there is a way. Then again, even glass vessel sinks are not easy to break from what I learned.

My sister in-law decided on one of the stone vessel sinks and was going to have it installed in a few days. It is a beautiful shade and I can just imagine how amazing that it will make her bathroom look. She wants to get the bathtub and the toilet in the same shade so we will go out looking for those later but I could not forget the look of those vessel sinks. I really didn’t know that there were sinks that were made so beautifully. And when you combine them with some bathroom vanities that blend in nicely together, then you have a spectacle!

Maybe in about ten years when all of the kids have grown up and left the house I will get one in my bathroom. I am so jealous that my sister in-law is having one installed in her bathroom tomorrow. She doesn’t have any kids so she can have her bathroom look clean and amazing without worrying about teenagers messing it up. But ever since that day that I went shopping with her I cannot get my mind off of those beautiful sinks.
